The European Commission has adopted a Communication on Effective, Accessible and Resilient Health Systems.
 
The Communication aims to develop approaches at the European level to strengthen the effectiveness of health systems, increase the accessibility of healthcare, improve the resilience of health systems.
 
Important to the Joint Action HWF : The focus on health workforce planning efforts to develop sustainable solutions to increase the accessibility of healthcare (page 12) and the Commission’s commitment to work further with the Member States on developing recommendations, tools etc. for MS planning.
